A seamless, evidence-based assessment process designed for accuracy and comfort.
Step-by-Step Process
1. Book Your Appointment
Choose your preferred date and time. Typically available within 2-4 weeks.
2. Complete Pre-Assessment Forms
Provide your medical history, symptom history, and background information to help us understand your situation.
3. Pre-Assessment Session (60-90 minutes)
Meet with an assistant psychologist online. Review your forms, discuss symptoms, and complete the DIVA-5 structured assessment.
4. Psychiatrist Consultation (45 minutes)
Meet with a consultant psychiatrist who reviews all information and conducts the diagnostic evaluation.
5. Receive Your Diagnosis
Get your formal diagnostic report with recommendations for treatment and next steps.
How Long Does Assessment Take?
Time Between Sessions:
Usually 1-2 weeks between pre-assessment and psychiatrist consultation.
Report Delivery:
Formal diagnostic report typically received within 1-2 weeks of final session.
Total Timeline:
From booking to receiving diagnosis report: approximately 4-6 weeks.
Is My Diagnosis Valid in Ireland?
Yes. Diagnoses from ADHD Global Care are formal clinical assessments conducted by Irish Medical Council–registered psychiatrists. The diagnostic report is accepted by:
- HSE and public healthcare providers
- General practitioners
- Employers for workplace accommodations
- Educational institutions
- Private healthcare providers
