Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition characterised by difficulties with attention, impulsiveness, and hyperactivity. It often involves emotional, sleep, and eating dysregulation, and can affect both children and adults. ADHD is one of the most common psychiatric disorders.

What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition affecting communication, social interaction, and behaviour. Individuals with ASD may experience sensory sensitivities and have unique patterns in routines and interests. Because ASD exists on a spectrum, it presents differently for each person, with varying support needs.

Dr. Guiso is eager to integrate these principles into ADHD assessment and treatment to support individuals on their path to recovery and well-being.

Dr Asghar is a consultant psychiatrist with extensive experience working in both public and private sector in Ireland. Dr Asghar has completed medical membership from Royal college of physicians of Ireland giving him solid foundation in physical health conditions which can co occur with mental health conditions. He has worked in specialist mental health services including St James hospital, Tallaght university hospital and St Patrick’s university hospital. Dr Asghar has completed Fellowship in Adult ADHD from college of psychiatrist of Ireland.

Dr. Khan has worked at top hospitals in Ireland, including St. Vincent’s, St. Patrick's, Beaumont, and St. John of God. Specializing in Adult ADHD, he is registered with the Irish Medical Council and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK and Ireland. Dr. Khan also completed postgraduate training in clinical leadership and public management.

Dr. Maria Péndola is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years of experience offering comprehensive mental health support, specialising in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a Chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland, she provides evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for ADHD, along with ASD assessments. Dr. Péndola offers individual sessions and support for families and couples as needed, creating a space to explore the impact of ADHD and ASD on patients’ lives. Her goal is to help clients build coping strategies, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being.
